Proposal at Rockefeller Center with 3 Stone Marquis Cut Ring
(San Antonio, TX. )
Since I met my boyfriend I shared my interest to see NY during the holiday season. I had visited NY before but didnt get to see all the holiday decor and especially my favorite the Rockefeller Tree all lit up. He asked you seriously want to travel hundreds of miles to see a Christmas tree?? Umm...of course! So for my birthday he made it happn. We booked a trip to NY for the week following my birthday. The city looked amazing all dressed in holiday lights and decor. I the "planner" that I am had an itinery which had us going to the Rocekfeller Center on the second night we were in NY he insited we go the first night. Despite my efforts there was no reasoning with him we were going to the Rockfeller Center that first night. Upon arriving to the center I was immediatly amazed by the tree and ice rink to my dismay so were oh about two thousand other people...man that place was crowded!! As we looked around we saw there was an observation deck atop the Rockefeller center called "top of the rock" we bought two tickets and headed up. The top was 76 stories high overlooking the beautiful NYC skyline it was amazing. In a nice secluded spot my love started talking very romanticaly to me saying how much he loved me...but I kinda spoiled the mood as I got distracted by a set of stairs, what was this another floor to reach the top!! I exclamied to him..."look honey we can go higher" so he said ok..lets go. Second go around he found another secluded spot and proceeded to tell me how much he loved me and didnt want to know what a day without me would be he pulled out my gorgeous ring and asked me to do him the honor of being his wife. I was stunned and in utter shock, primarily because we had packed together and I was wondering how in the world he got this ring passed me, and also because of how beautiful it was. I just started crying and hugged him after about 45 seconds he said...."ok, you havent answered"..I immediatly exclamied YES!!
It was by far the most romantic thing that has ever happened to me. I'm so lucky to have found a wonderful guy who understnads just how important the right propsal is. The photo I attached does not do the ring justice it is beautiful and the best part is he totally picked it out himself! I normally am an emerald-cut kinda gal but this three stone marquise cut is perfect! Simple yet elegant. It is a 1 carat center stone with two half carats the center is VVS1 and G color.
