Some of her most well known pieces include: Her dangling pearl and diamond tiara, referred to as the Cambridge Love Knot. This beautiful piece of jewelry was given to the princess by her mother-in-law, the Queen of England. Copies of the pearl tiara are now worn by many brides on their wedding day. Prince Charles proposed to Diana in February of 1981 and they were married several months later. The marriage ceremony was shown around the words and watched by hundreds of millions of people. Soon after, their sons Harry and William were born. Unfortunately, there was trouble in paradise and rumors of extramarital affairs plagued the marriage. In 1997, Diana fell in love with Emad "Dodi" Fayed the son of a wealthy businessman. Their relationship was cut short by a fatal car accident that took both of their lives. People over the world mourned this great loss.
