Thanks

Thanks for the reply, you have definitely made me feel better about purchasing from that site if I can decide on a ring, LOL, you would think I am the one wearing it I am so worried about picking it out. I just know it is going to be on her hand for the rest of her life, kind of like a tattoo, and I get paranoid about getting anything that permanent perfect. I am actually thinking of bringing her back to my hometown in New Orleans (I live and work in GA now) and she has never been, and I am thinking of proposing next weekend and the venue: Oak Alley Plantation...I plan to walk her down the aisle of trees away from the crowds and plantation house and do it under the century old oaks (those trees have stood the test of time and I know we will as well). You can see a picture of what I am referring to when you go to this website and see the first picture: http://www.oakalleyplantation.com/

Pink Sapphire Ring
by: Anonymous

Hi Jessie,
Congrats on being close to proposing to your girlfriend. It sounds as though you are very in love with her :)
The pink sapphire is a lovely choice for an engagement ring....classy yet different than the standard diamond ring. All three links to the rings you both have selected are very pretty!

You are right to feel a little uncomfortable purchasing from a website that you are unfamiliar with. A few things listed on the website make me feel more comfortable with it: They are a member of the Better Business Bureau and have a satisfactory standing with the company. The BBB indicates that only one customer filed a complaint in the last 36 months and that the complaint was resolved. Another thing listed is that they are a member of the jeweler's vigilance committee: this is an organization which promotes ethics and high standards in the jewelry industry. The company also has a decent return policy, in case you are not satisfied with the ring. However, be sure to check out their policy on ring resizing.

You may want to give them a call and see what their customer service is like. This may also help you to feel at ease with the company.
