So it finally happened!!! Mike and i got engaged yesterday. we have been planning this for a while, and he was stressed about finding a ring for me, so we decided to go look for a ring together on saturday. we got lost, ended up eating amazing sushi, and then headed back home. we went to the jewelry store on sunday, and saw some amazing rings, but i didn't really want a diamond. i didn't want to get a ring just to get a ring, so we decided to wait until i found something that i liked. i wanted a ring though, so we went to the mall and i found a mood ring at claire's. he then said that it was a perfect idea b/c then he would always know my mood.

i was flying out from buffalo yesterday, so we decided to go yesterday. it was a nice day, but a bit chilly (in the 40's). we walked around, and i was freezing without gloves!!! we went near the falls on the side and then he asked me if i wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and raise a family together. he than said--- i had to ask you a few questions before i asked you the big question. he got down on his knee, pulled out the mood ring, and asked me to marry him. of course i said yes, and then we kissed with our eyes closed. when we opened our eyes, there were 10 japanese tourists right next to us... we were like where did they all come from!! quite commical.

so that is my story.. i think that we are going to get married in may.
