The Proposal:

I took my fiancee on a two week vacation to the Philippines and popped the question on the white sand beach of an isolated island off the coast of Palawan. We had rented a boat for the day and were island hoping. It was sunset, we were the only people on the beach and were enjoying a bottle of champagne and fresh mangoes on our last stop of the tour...smooooth sailing!

The Ring:

I have known of Etienne Perret's designs for quite some time and was dead-set on buying an engagement ring for my wife, custom designed by him. I worked with I. Gorman jewelers, a wonderful store in Washington DC to purchase his "Danielle" engagement ring. It is 18kt rose gold and set with a 1.23ct natural color cognac diamond and 6 gvs white diamonds on the sides. I recommend Etienne 100%! He is great to work with and an incredible jeweler. Don't let anyone else make your ring!
