can't sell my engagement ring

in one of the stories you wrote an ezine article about how to sell an engagement ring if the engagement's off. at the end you say that maybe you keep it for use maybe later. do you think a woman would go for this? i'm a guy and thought most women would not go for getting a ring that wasn't purchased for them but for someone else and it didn't work out.
