Buying a second hand ring is alot different but don't give a female a ring that you purchased for another!!!!! regardless of cost (which is lots I know) it says that you in a way cared fro your former more than you do for this one. not good

Can't sell my engagement ring by: Anonymous
Hello,
You can hold on to the ring and "regift" it when you find the woman of your dreams on several conditions:
- The ring no longer holds any sentimental value to you or you don't attach the ring to any bad memories associated with your previous fiance.
- You are comfortable concealing the fact that the ring was purchased for another woman.....let's face it...no matter how cool your new woman is, she is not going to be thrilled about receiving a recycled ring
- No other friends or family members will tell your fiance about the ring's orgins.
I am a practical girl and seeing as though we are in a horrible economy....selling the ring and losing 40%-60% on it, only to turnaround and repurchase a ring for full retail value.....makes me a little uncomfortable. However, if the thought of re-gifting the ring is going to keep you up at night worrying about its karma or your fiance finding out it is a "used" ring.....you should just go ahead and cut your losses, sell the ring, and buy a new one.
