Blue Nile Engagement Rings

by Stef

Hello! I stumbled across this site and just wanted to say you've done an amazing job with it.

Also, I too was given a Blue Nile engagement ring and was THRILLED to see you singing the praises of their business on here. My fiance and I are young (now 22) and were in college with double-majors at the time he proposed. I'd kept saying I wanted to be engaged and didn't need a ring right away, but he insisted that he had to save some money first and plan a great proposal for me.

He was so low on funds and I told him I wanted a princess-cut solitaire (asscher was my second choice) set in 18k gold (after having 18k, I will never return to 14k), and a platinum mount because I am a klutz. I wanted the most perfect diamond he could find, colorless with excellent clarity, and told him to go small and perfect rather than large and imperfect.

He got me my ring from Blue Nile and I couldn't be more pleased with it (I also had a proposal fit for a movie-scene). They're the nicest people to deal with and we get an amazing value. Since then I have also bought a pearl bracelet and necklace from there, and I've chosen my wedding band from there as well...a diamond band with burmese rubies scattered in.

It's nice to see someone made a site like this, so informative and honest. Way to go!
